Not a great December, but not terrible.
As a reminder: My best sellers are b2b products that don't see a spike during the holidays...
If anything, they have the opposite: while people are taking time off from work during the holidays, they're probably LESS likely to be buying products from my top brand.
Here are my most profitable SKUs on the month (name omitted):

One thing I will mention:
My most promising new product launch of the year underwhelmed during the holidays, sadly.
The recent trend has been competitors are lowering their prices while also increasing their bids for advertising (OR the demand is simply not there, and we're all having to compete for the smaller overall pie).
(The product is pretty seasonal & sees the lowest demand this time of year... but I thought it had potential be gifted as a Christmas present).
Either way, $6,500 is $6,500 :)
And here's my Campaign Manager statistics from Seller Central:
- Spend: $1,073.62 $1,081.55 MoM
- Sales: $3,565.70 $2,796.71 MoM
- ACos: 30.11% 3.29% MoM
Amazon is still showing promise in 2020. I've done some consulting recently that included calls with new sellers that just jumped onto the platform in late 2018 / early 2019 and have experienced success selling on the world's #1 marketplace.
The opportunity is absolutely still there & is ripe to be taken advantage of for those willing to put in the work.

Alright... I wont lie. I was only able to get up to 12,000 of my 20,000 available slots filled before December ended.
Taking into account that most of the sales spike takes place in the first 3 weeks of December, and me hitting that 12K mark included my uploads through the 31st... I probably could've done a better job.
* BUT *
The new workflow I've been developing & optimizing in late November/December is still being refined, and working like a charm.
It involves automating the creation of variable designs followed by automating the upload process, & includes converting designs into KDP book covers as well as getting them uploaded to about 5 other POD platforms.
Because of how effective it's been, combined with the fact that Merch listings now stay live for an entire year (and I am NOT going to manually be removing listings while in tier 20K...), I made an executive decision:
I decided that instead of uploading designs to various product type OTHER than the standard t-shirt, I'm going to upload 10,000 unique designs to standard tees ONLY until I fill out my remainign slots.
It's ambitious, but I'm already on my way. I'm current at 12,500 / 20,000.
Amazon KDP has an upload limit of 1,000 books per week, and as I mentioned before: I'm converting my Merch designs into KDP book covers.
As a result, I'm uploading between 900-1,000 t-shirts to Merch (& KDP) each week!

If you're not taking advantage of Amazon Merch, please make it a priority in 2020. Seriously. It's one of the two "Tier 1" money making opportunities (the other being KDP).
I call them "Tier 1" because you're able to list prime-eligible print on demand products on the world's #1 eCommerce marketplace AT NO COST! Meaning, there is NO DOWNSIDE.
No cost = no downside = no excuses not to be taking advantage.
If you're ready to take your Amazon Merch business to the next level, I can show you how I scaled my Merch account from Tier 10 to Tier 20,000 (including taking my mom's Merch account from Tier 10 to Tier 500!)

Getting kicked off etsy for doing nothign wrong really stung this Q4.
I'm happy to have made $2,183.42 of profit... but I have to mention:
Last December (2018), I made $2,938.66 of profit on Etsy alone.
So yeah... not being on Etsy = not cool.
(If you missed the backstory of what happened, This YouTube video outlines everything.
Here's a breakdown of my profit from my top 4 platforms:
- Amazon (.com): $1,398.03
- Redbubble: $371.64
- Amazon (.co.uk): $191.41
- Teepublic: $123.00
With my new heavily automated print on demand workflow, I plan on having a much bigger Q4 in 2020.
The funny thing is, it will require far less effort!
Q4 of 2020 is still a far ways away, but I'm ALWAYS excited for Q4 as a print on demand seller, as it's when the most sales come in, as evidenced by this income report.
Unfortunately the sales aren't as stellar as they had been in the past due to Etsy's poorly written IP infringement automation mixed with their unwillingness to budge when it comes to letting sellers back on their platform who's accounts were wrongfully terminated.
My total dropshipped print on demand profit on the year in 2019 was $23,149.78. I did this on AUTOPILOT & would be happy to show you how.

I began selling on Amazon KDP in October of 2019.
Remember how I mentioned a second ago that I was kicked off Etsy & as a result missed the $2,938.66 that I had made in December of the previous year?
Well, rather than get upset & call it quits over something that I have no control over, I did my best to remedy that situation (albeit, unsuccessfully) - AND, I also looked at other ways to replace that income.
Coincidentally, KDP did just that!
I was able to replace the money from Etsy & then some.
(Take that Etsy!)
OK, I think I'll now admit for the 10th time that I'm over the whole Etsy situation and move on :)

In summary:
$3,154.13 of profit was generated on 1,725 @ an average royalty of $1.83 per book.
Amazon KDP is a free program intended for authors to self-publish both ebooks & paperback books.

By selling "low content" books, we avoid spending time writing the content for book interiors & instead focus on selling notebook-style paperback books to various niche markets. Trust me - it works!

I run a few popular websites where I collect advertising revenue via Google Ads (formerly Google AdSense). I also collect revenue via direct partnerships with advertisers & from affiliate links, but for times sake, I'm going to omit those deals.
I won't be doing month-to-month write ups here because I don't spend much time maintaining these websites. They started out as passion projects that allowed me to become a better web developer, but today I spend very little time working on them.
