Push Products to Amazon From Your Phone

By on

I recently spent a long weekend in Florida where I didn't do much real work on my businesses, but was still able to push 200 products to Amazon using Gearbubble.

I spent the last 4 days in the Florida keys, enjoying the incredible weather, good food, & good company.

It wasn't too long ago that I wrote a post outlining how I made 5-figures of passive income profits while vacationing, and now that I think about it, this was my 4th vacation already in 2019 - and it's only April.

What's amazing about truly passive income is that I was making more money than I was spending while I was gone!

If that's not the dream of every young entrepreneur, then I'm not sure what is.

In addition to reaping the reward of work I'd done in the past,

While I spent less than 30 minutes a day on my computer, I was still able to push over 200 products to Amazon using my phone!

So not only was I getting paid to vacation, but I was growing my business while sipping a pina colada and working on my tan :)

Here's how I did it.

Gearbubble Amazon Integration

gearbubble + amazon = fire flame emoji

Using the Gearbubble + Amazon integration, I am able to push print on demand products for sale on Amazon.com from my phone, with a simple tap of my finger.

This is, in my opinion, Gearbubbles biggest advantage over competitor POD platforms.

It lets me launch what they call "campaigns" in advance, where I upload my designs & place them onto print no demand products similar to how Amazon Merch & Redbubble work where they'll then be available for purchase on the Gearbubble marketplace.

The first problem is that unlike Merch & Redbubble, Gearbubble's online marketplace gets little to no organic traffic. If you want to succeed selling POD products there, you'll likely want to set aside an advertising budget to send targeted traffic.

Redbubble gets a lot of organic (& paid) traffic sent from Google & Google Shopping, and Amazon Merch products are pushed straight to Amazon.com's marketplace as Prime eligible, so they have no problem attracting buyers.

As a result, most people that sell on Gearbubble use the Amazon, Etsy, & eBay integration so that they can make their print on demand products available for purchase on the world's largest eCommerce marketplaces.

The second problem is that Gearbubble charges monthly for their integrations, on a per-marketplace basis.

Once you have the integration(s) setup, you can have the listings created automatically on Amazon & eBay at the push of a button once you've launched the campaigns through Gearbubble's wizard:

  1. Go to Gearbubble.com/campaigns & click "Launch Campaign > Traditional"
    Gearbubble launch traditional campaign
  2. Select your product type (it must by supported by the integration for your selected marketplace, i.e. t-shirts didn't use to be supported, but they are now)
    gearbubble select your produc
I typically render 2 versions of a design: white & black - this allows me to upload to 11oz + 15oz white & black coffee mugs, shot glasses, & pillow cases
  3. Create Product Step 1) Upload your design & fit it to your product, then click "Next Step"
creating a custom coffee mug on gearbubble step 1
  4. Create Product Step 2) Give your product a title (you can skip category & tags). Then create a random URL & agree to the terms of service, then click "Launch Campaign!"

  5. That's it! You should now see your campaign live on Gearbubble

Gearbubble Campaign Launch Shortcuts

I'll typically go through the process of launching Gearbubble campaigns and do 6 or 12 at a time.

As you can tell from reading my blog, I have to be fast & efficient in order to maintain so many different businesses. It takes time, but they can be launched in an efficient manner once you've mastered keyboard shortcuts like:

  • CTRL+T to open a new browser tab
  • CTRL+C / CTRL+V to copy+paste URLs
  • CTRL+1 / CTRL+2 / CTRL+3 etc... to quickly change browser tab focus
  • CTRL+W to quickly close a browser tab when the campaign is launched

I hired two VAs to create templated designs & launch campaigns for me once, but wasn't very pleased with their efficiency so our working relationship didn't last long... I had a request to do a video on that, whihc I'm planning on sharing somewhere in the near future.

Launching POD Products From Your Phone

But anyways, once you've launched the campaigns & signed up for the Gearbubble dropshipping integration with your marketplace(s) of choice, you can launch campaigns from your phone with ease!

The UI for how to get to the screen where you do it can be a bit confusing, so I've outlined it for you below:

  1. From the Campaigns screen, click "View Dropship Dashboard"
click the view dropship dashboard button
  2. Click the Stores" button in the header
    click the stores button
  3. Next to your store, click the "New Product" link
click the new product link for your store
  4. You should now see a list of all your live Gearbubble campaigns. Any product that hasn't been uploaded yet will have an "Upload" button that you can click to push the product to the eCommerce platform
your live campaigns will have an upload button

You can open the link on your phone and easily push the products with a single tap - it truly couldn't be easier.

I only push 2 products to Amazon at a time. After hitting "Upload", the button will turn grey. When the products are done pushing to Amazon (15-20 min on average), the "Uploading" button disappears completely & it's safe to push new products.

The eBay integration works just as easily, and I've never used the Etsy integration but I imagine it would have an additional step requiring you to agree to the $0.20 fee for publishing a new listing on Etsy.
