I still have major love for Amazon Merch, even after 3 years of being on the platform.
While some people go through "burnout" phases, I simply did not have the time that I used to have to dedicate towards maximizing the value of my Merch account.
I'd venture to say that my 2019 Merch numbers are TRULY passive...
Outside of running the automation uploader, I really didn't get too many new designs up (until November when I transitioned into my new 1,000 design/week workflow)
This video runs through my high-level Merch analytics for 2019, and then breaks down my top 10 best sellers for the year with interesting notes like:
- What's the niche (high-level)
- How I found the niche
- Reviews / Price Point
I also took time to reflect on the niche that got me out of the 10-tier 3 years ago, as well as an update on my most profitable shirt to date ($4,000+ profit)

Breakdown (Color)
I don't place too much of a priority on this, because the most common colors that I make my designs available on will skew the results (Merch currently lets me select up to 10 on standard t-shirts, which are my most common product type selection).
Here are my top 7, which account for 82% of my sales:
- Black: 56%
- Dark Heather: 9%
- Royal Blue: 5%
- Navy: 3%
- Cranberry: 3%
- Heather Blue: 3%
- White: 3%
