I use an AWESOME, free tool called Merch Resize to assist in generating design files optimized for Amazon Merch hoodies & popsockets.
It's great because it helps streamline the process of generating new design files (as required by Merch) for these two specific products.
Standard t-shirts, premium t-shirts, longsleeve shirts & sweatshirts all use the same design file size of 4500px x 5400px, but for whatever reason it requires us to generate new files for hoodies and popsockets.
Some sellers will let this deter them from offering those products, presenting a great opportunity for those of us willing to put in the extra effort required.
Trust me, it's worth it - especially since the 2019 pricing update where hoodies baseline price experienced a $5 reduction, meaning if you were selling hoodies at $39.99 prior & don't adjust the pricing, you'll make a $10.78 royalty on each sale!
Don't skip hoodies and popsockets!

MerchResize Tool For Hoodies & PopSockets
Outside of when I use the 4500px x 5400px template, I don't work in Photoshop.
This is because I no longer have to thanks to MerchResize!
This simple, web application lets you drag & drop your standard size designs into their user interface and automatically generated images optimized for both hoodies & popsockets.
My two favorite things about using MerchResize:
- Ease of use (100/100 - seriously - so well done!)
- It's FREE!
Amazon Merch sellers no longer have an excuse not to be listing hoodies & popsockets if you're in a high upload tier where you have slots to spare.
How To Use MerchResize

How easy was that?
Also, check out Merch Locker, from the makers of MerchResize. I still haven't used it yet myself, but I figured I'd give them a shout out since I love MerchResize so much :)
