Merch + Redbubble have established partnerships with various brands & conglomerates in some cases, where they allow artists (like you & I) to submit designs for review that use their intellectual property rights.
Think of a t-shirt with Rick & Morty characters on it.
Without being the Merch Collab program, it's an instant rejection.
WITH the Merch collab program... it will be reviewed by someone from their team (the Rick & Morty team, that is)
While they're often very strict, it's the only way to "profit" from their IP without getting into trouble.
Redbubble has it's own program, similar to Merch Collab except there's no application process + it's got more brand partners.
