Amazon Seller Support is an invaluable resource to new sellers.
They're able to assist via phone, email, & live chat (they got rid of live chat) with most low-level, general issues.
If you're lucky, you'll never actually need to contact them for help... but Amazon's Seller Central is far from perfect & I've had to contact them about issues related to my product listings on multiple occasions.
They also have a vast knowledge base for the following categories that's easy to query:
- Account settings
- Manage orders
- Returns, refunds, cancellations, and claims
- Getting started with Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA)
- Increase sales
- Amazon Handmade
- Amazon Business Overview
- Delivery with Services
- Merch Collab
- Manage Inventory
- Payments
- Monitor feedback and performance
- Advertise with Amazon
- Amazon Global Selling
- Custom Products
- XML & data exchange
- Selling Services on Amazon
- Amazon Launchpad
* Accessing the help base requires an active Seller Central account.
Contacting Amazon Seller Support
Here's how to contact Amazon Seller Support:
Update * June 2019:
They changed the UI of the first step (after clicking "help") - I suggest just using this link to skip directly to the contact screen:
Contact Amazon Seller Support »
- Click "Help" in the top-right corner of any screen in Seller Central, this will take you the new (2019) help page
- Click "Get Help" beneath the "Top solutions" suggestions to open the help side-panel
- Within the support side panel, click "Contact Us" to open the "Contact US" prompt on the left
* click to expand
- Within the "Contact Us" prompt on the left, click "Selling on Amazon"
* click to expand
- This will change the content on the right-side support side panel. Click "Two-Step Verification"
(I know your issue isn't related to two-step verification, but this works consistently)* click to expand
- That should trigger the "Selling on Amazon issue" prompt on the left-hand side.
Click "Products and inventory" followed by "Issue listing products"* click to expand
- Click "Issue listing products" followed by "I don't have an ASIN or SKU or Batch ID" followed by"Next"
* click to expand
- Click "Other product and inventory issues" followed by "Next"
* click to expand
- You can opt to be contacted via Email or Phone. Email is the slower option
* click to expand
- By phone is the fastest option. They will have an automated machine call the number you provide immediately after submission, and it will connect you to an Amazon Support associate.
* click to expand
That's it :)
When you pay $39.99/mo for your Seller Central account, you're paying for support.
Use it as much as you need to!
